The Petal + Hive skincare line has been well received and successful for several years. The formulas are all developed in-house. Two cleanser formulas, two serums, and an eye cream are my own formulas, and the beloved Intense Hydration Moisturizer was developed by my husband Jeff, also a cosmetic chemist.
The world of plant-based, clean skincare is moving forward at record speed. There are so many more sophisticated ingredients available than ever before. Ingredient manufacturers hear the demand for natural beauty products and they're developing new products that have the potential to take clean beauty to new places.
I've been following the developments, and over the past year I reformulated the Petal + Hive line to include new ingredients.
As with every formula I bring to market, the new ones produce visible results when you use them, and they feel luxurious when applied to your skin. My goal as a formulator is to set you up with a routine that is easy to follow, feels fulfilling, and results in positive changes in your skin.
The new products are part of an entirely new brand, called Acta Beauty. The brand name “ACTA” comes from the Latin phrase “Acta Non Verba” meaning “Actions Not Words”.
The products in the Acta Beauty line are based on the successful principles behind the Petal + Hive brand, and are boosted with cutting edge components.
