Come and learn how specific yoga poses can strengthen your bones!
This free workshop will cover the basics of yoga poses for bone health. Jael Polnac will share her personal story of how she increased her bone density using the yoga exercises she'll demonstrate for us at the event.
Jael's yoga for bone health practice is based on teachings by Dr. Fishman. When she learned of her own bone density loss in 2018 she began religiously practicing his methods. Her next DEXA scan showed a six percent improvement in her bone density at which point she decided it was time to become certified to teach his method. Her third DEXA scan showed an even greater improvement. She has never taken bisphosphonate drugs and has been teaching Yoga for Bone Health since completing her training with Dr. Fishman in 2021.
Attire: Comfortable shoes and clothing.
This workshop is appropriate for all levels.
