Customer Care Associate

Petal + Hive is a clean self-care boutique moving soon to the heart of Saratoga Springs. We offer a curated selection of skincare, bath and body products, hand-poured candles, and beautiful gifts that help customers feel nurtured, pampered, and cared for. At Petal + Hive, we believe that little luxuries make every day special, and we enjoy creating warm, personal connections with everyone who walks through our doors.

We’re looking for a warm, friendly, and thoughtful Customer Care Associate to join the Petal + Hive team! In this role, you’ll create a welcoming, caring environment for customers, helping them discover products they’ll love while delivering personalized service.


Details

Store location: 510 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY (in the Algonquin Building)

Start Date: We are hoping to open the Saratoga store in late May. Training will begin at that time.

  • Part-time position (approximately 16-24 hours per week; some weekends required)
  • The wage range for this position starts at $16-18/hour
  • Raises and bonuses will be readily given based on performance


 

As a Customer Care Associate, you’ll:


  • Greet and assist customers with warmth and friendliness
  • Listen to customers’ needs and guide them to products that fit their skincare, body care, and gifting goals
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and beautiful boutique environment
  • Process purchases accurately at the register
  • Restock merchandise and help keep displays looking fresh and inviting
  • Pack online orders for shipping and local pickup, ensuring each package feels like a gift
  • Answer the phone and provide helpful information and resources to customers
  • Build customer relationships and foster a sense of community in the store
  • Contribute to the cleanliness and overall tidiness of the boutique

  

You’ll be a great fit if you:


  • Love helping people feel cared for and confident in their choices
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enjoy creating a beautiful, welcoming environment
  • Are dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently at times
  • Have experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service (preferred but not required)


Physical Requirements


  • Comfortable being on your feet and moving throughout the store for extended periods
  • Able to stay active and engaged while standing and walking during shifts
