This light serum helps fade dark spots, sun spots and melasma with the power of Tranexamic acid, Azelaic acid and a few natural ingredients.
Azelaic acid helps reduce inflammation and even skin tone by inhibiting tyrosinase, an enzyme involved in hyperpigmentation. It also combats acne and rosacea.
Tranexamic acid, on the other hand, is more specialized in treating melasma and other forms of hyperpigmentation by inhibiting plasmin, an enzyme that contributes to melanin production. It also helps with redness and may minimize the appearance of rosacea.
Extract from the bark of Pterocarpus marsupium, Licorice extract and Guava and Papaya Fruit extracts also contribute to the lightening effect of this serum. It is important to use sunblock with at least SPF 30 while using this serum.
