Skincare Consultations with a Cosmetic Chemist
Let's Talk About Your Skin
Book a 45-minute, one-on-one skincare consultation with cosmetic chemist Jillian Ehrenberg.
Whether you've been using the same skincare products for years or love experimenting with new ingredients, I want to hear about your skin and what you'd like to accomplish.
During the consultation, we'll look at your current routine, discuss the products and ingredients your skin responds well to, and talk about what you'd like to change.
My goal is for you to leave feeling hopeful about your skin, with a better understanding of which products and ingredients may help you achieve the results you're looking for.
How a Consultation Can Help You
Our skin changes throughout our lives, and what once worked for you may not be producing the results you want.
You might be looking for products that work better with your sensitive skin, wondering which ingredients can help you achieve the results you're looking for, or simply wanting to understand your skin a little better.
As a cosmetic chemist, I bring years of experience working with skincare ingredients, formulating products, and listening to women talk about their skin.
During the consultation, we'll talk about what makes sense for your skin and the kind of routine you actually want to have.
You will leave with a clear, written action plan that will be easy for you to follow. I will check in with you a week and 1 month after our meeting to see how your skin is responding.

You Know Your Skin, I Know Ingredients
I have a lot of skincare wisdom to share, but I also believe you have wisdom that comes from living in your own skin.
You know which products you've loved, which ones haven't worked for you, and how your skin responds to different ingredients. You know how much time you want to spend on your skincare routine and what results you're hoping to see.
I'm not here to tell you that you need a complicated skincare routine or that you should be doing more than you're already doing. I'm here to share what I know, listen to what you know about your own skin, and help you make decisions that feel right for you.
Sensitive skin? Let's look a little closer
If you've ever tried a product that everyone seems to love, only to find that your skin doesn't love it at all, you know how frustrating skincare can be.
I formulate skincare with sensitive skin in mind, using carefully selected ingredients that meet my clean beauty standards. I also understand that even thoughtfully formulated products aren't right for everyone.
During our consultation, we can review ingredient lists, look at ingredients that may be contributing to unwanted reactions, and explore whether certain ingredients come from sources you're sensitive to.
We may discover that a product you're already using is working beautifully, that a different ingredient would be a better fit, or that creating a custom formula is worth exploring.
How I Evaluate Skincare on My Own Skin
When I'm testing a new skincare product, I don't immediately apply it to my entire face. Instead, I choose one area and apply the product there consistently for one to two weeks, keeping the rest of my routine the same.
This allows me to compare that area with the rest of my face and see what the product is actually doing. Does my skin feel more hydrated? Does it look smoother? Am I noticing improvements in texture or fine lines? Is there any redness, dryness, or irritation?
I've learned so much about my own skin by paying attention to these differences, and I encourage my customers to do the same.
I'll show you the exact way I test new products at home, what to look for as your skin responds, and how to use that information to decide which products deserve a place in your daily routine.

A Note About Your Skincare Consultation
My skincare consultations focus on cosmetic ingredients, product selection, and helping you develop a skincare routine that works well for you.
These consultations are educational in nature and are not intended to diagnose or treat medical skin conditions or replace the advice of your dermatologist or healthcare provider.
If you have a diagnosed skin condition, known allergies, or ongoing irritation, I'm happy to work with the information and recommendations your healthcare provider has given you as we explore skincare products that may be appropriate for your skin.
Individual results vary, and even products formulated for sensitive skin may cause irritation or allergic reactions.
