Botanical Body Scrub Workshop

Ready for a guided self-care session? 

Join me around the table at Petal + Hive, where we’ll begin with an exquisite oil blend I’ve prepared for you. Whether you like warm, floral, woodsy, or fresh scents, I’ll help you choose a fragrance or you can combine a few favorites.

After you select your scent, you'll stir in botanicals and organic cane sugar, and fill a gorgeous glass jar with a custom body scrub.

You’ll explore optional additions such as fine pumice, ground coffee beans, poppy seeds, and hibiscus petals, then stir in the sugar and watch your scrub come together. As a cosmetic chemist, I’ll guide you through the process and explain how the formula works, including what makes your scrub lightly foam on damp skin and rinse away without feeling greasy or heavy.

Then spoon your scrub into its jar, fill out your label, and finish it with a cork lid and ribbon. With its accompanying wooden spoon, it’s ready to give as a gift or keep for yourself.

A workshop booklet will help you follow along, with space to record your recipe and prompts to help you slow down and enjoy the process.

Equal parts creative experience and self-care, this is time set aside for yourself in the beautiful setting of Petal + Hive. There’s room to ask questions, explore, and enjoy making something with your hands.

Led by cosmetic chemist and Petal + Hive founder Jillian Ehrenberg, this 90-minute workshop is suitable for all skill levels.

You’ll take home:

• Your body scrub in a clear jar with a cork lid and wooden spoon

• Your workshop booklet with your recipe
